Notes from meeting of 01/05/2023
Hello, All. If you weren’t at our meeting yesterday, we missed you.
We had two guests at our meeting: Sarah Vestal (Patty Felan’s daughter) and Dr. Kyle Penn of Prosper ISD.
The focus of today’s meeting was to install Harlan Jefferson as our new Prosper Rotary Club president for 2023.
Ed Reames, our out-going president spent time recognizing fellow Rotarians for their efforts and support during his term as president.
Ed then administered the oath to Harlan and then to other club officers David Huck (Sergeant at Arms), Hulon Webb (Treasurer), and Mark Bishop (Secretary).
Harlan went on to share his thoughts on 2023 visions and plans.

Harlan has challenged us all to each bring at least one guest to one meeting a month and actively strive to bring in members of diversity.
The RI Board of Directors have a goal of growing our membership and increasing diversity. By 2023, they want 30% of the worldwide membership to be female. To support this goal, our club also committed to increasing the diversity in our club by having 30% of our members be females by the end of 2023.
