VISITOR ACTIVITY
Hayden Metcalf and Nick Sharp joined our speaker Jeff Smith today. All three are from Prosper ISD Athletics Department.
 
 
TODAY’S SPEAKER
Jeff Smith, the new Director of Athletics for Prosper ISD, spoke to us today. Jeff spoke about the PISD athletics system.
 
  
  
 
 
SPECIAL SESSION WITH PROSPER EDUCATION FOUNDATION BOARD MEMBER AND INTERIM ACTING DIRECTOR STACY CATE
 
After today’s regular meeting, we met with Stacy Cate to discuss our partnership with Prosper Education foundation. We discussed several key issues including scholarship amounts, financial elements, and proper recognition for our Rotary Club as scholarships are awarded.
 
 
 
 
FLAG WORK-DAY SATURDAY MARCH 9th               
We’ll be overhauling flags Saturday 03/09/24.
We will start at 800AM and stop around Noon-ish. Dress appropriately. It may be chilly. In case of rain, we’ll reschedule.
 Bring
  1. a pair of side cutters / snips capable of cutting cable ties
  2. a ¼” nut driver with a few sockets / ¼” and 5/16” are likely needed
  3. water – stay hydrated
  4. sunscreen if you work outside
  5. a hat
  6. sunglasses
  7. work gloves
The work will be performed at our storage lockers in Prosper: Blue Star Storage, 1140 Prosper Trail, Prosper 75078. It’s located on the SW corner of Prosper Trail and Preston Road. The code to get your car past the gate is 6430*. Our lockers (148, 152, 153, 154) are along the back drive.
 
NEXT THURSDAY’S MEETING (MARCH 14th) WILL BE A FLAG REBUILD WORHSHOP RATHER THAN A REGULAR MEETING
