Denise Coffman, Development Director
Be An Angel DFW

Denise is excited to be the Development Director for Be An Angel DFW.  Through BAA DFW & their services, she can continue her life’s work of touching children & their families that truly need it the most.
She spent almost 15 years in public education working with kids of all ages.  The experiences & opportunities with children that her educational journey provided were priceless.  They forced her to find her passion in life & to begin thinking ‘out of the box’ for ways to reach the WHOLE child.  Her book, What’s The Issue-Biblioguidance For Children That Opens Doors, (https://www.amazon.com/Whats-Issue-Biblioguidance-Children-Opens/dp/1930572352 ) creatively helps parents, educators, & other professionals teach all children, not only academically, but socially & emotionally as well.  She spent a year traveling to state educator conventions, including the Texas Education Association’s conference, sharing her thoughts & the unique social-emotional lessons from her book touching children’s lives all over the country.  She has an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from The University of North Texas & a graduate degree in Counseling & Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University.  Denise is blessed with three amazing children and loves to spend her free time making memories with them.  She believes & tries to live her by the quote “It’s not how you live, it’s whose life you change in the wake of yours”!
